Layout Design
In my role as the in-house Production Artist at Gelson's, I embrace a diverse set of responsibilities. Among them, I specialize in the art of meticulous layout design for our weekly product newsletter. This publication features crucial elements such as pricing details and imagery, each subject to rigorous quality control before it graces the printed page.
Included below are select samples of my work on the weekly newsletter. I take pride in the fact that I conceive and create the layout design, execute graphic design, and even generate many of the images in-house. The newsletter commences as a blank canvas, and I craft it afresh each week, shepherding it through multiple proofing stages until it's primed for the printing press.
Layout design, sizing, and vendor issued advertisements all created in the layout by me using InDesign. Photoshop and Lightroom play a large role in creating the clipping paths and editing the in-house photography for many items.
