When our team was initially asked to create a new design aesthetic for the stores - something more genuine and relatable - I took this an a great opportunity to initiate some deeper aesthetic exploration. Below are some early lettering studies and specs that lead to the approach that we eventually took, which evolved into a scalable digital design system using illustrations and textures.
